Freemake presents a brand-new way to download YouTube videos and playlists. Now you can save whatever you want straight from the browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer) with handy download buttons. Download Freemake Video Downloader 3.5 here. To activate the buttons, please install a new software version and select the buttons in installation wizard.

The buttons are already integrated into YouTube web pages and available for:
- single YouTube videos;
- channels;
- playlists;
- artists' pages;
- user favorites, uploads, history, likes, watch later.

Besides, the free software expands the coverage of supported YouTube categories. Now users can download videos & playlists and convert them to MP3, MP4, AVI, etc. from YouTube Music and YouTube Education pages. Let’s examine each source in details.

YouTube Music is an automatic channel which links all songs and audio tracks on the platform. It’s an ad-supported service; there are tunes of all genres: rock, pop, classic, jazz, folk, dance, punk, hard rock, rap, soul, spiritual music, etc. All you can find on the Google video venue is available within YouTube Music, including Vevo artists. If you can’t live without an acoustic companion, then we recommend checking the new channel.

YouTube Education or YouTube EDU or #Education is an automatic catalog of dozens of educational branches. There are such departments as law, engineering, mathematics, arts, humanities, science, history, medicine, social science, life long learning and others. If you want to learn something new from your peers or Harvard professors, EDU courses give you this chance for free. All videos are quite long, about 1.5 hour each piece. If you have a slow Internet connection, we recommend you saving them one by one instead of batch download. Please use MP4 as the default format for mobile devices and WMV or AVI for desktop computers.

Plus, Freemake Video Downloader can rip videos and MP3s from YouTube artists pages, like the one below:

The buttons launch Downloader 3.5 with filled in links from the clips and speed up copying process. Please make sure that you install Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer extensions from an official developer’s website. Please make sure that you install the Freemake extension from www.freemake.com to keep your browser safe and sound.

All browser extensions require certain rights, for example, to read the content on the web page you’re on. To make web browsing a safe experience, please check the list of extension that you allowed in your browser. If you’re using Google Chrome, go to Control menu inside of  Chrome, click the Extensions option, and see names of the extensions you have there. Feel free to remove any buttons you don’t know. If you prefer Firefox, open Menu in your browser, select Add-ons tab and check extensions there. If you use Internet Explorer, hit the Settings sign, go to "Manage add-ons" and find the full list of toolbars and extensions. Please enable "Show: all add-ons", it’s not a default setting. We hope you will enjoy new buttons.

Please note that this option is available only within the current version of Freemake Video Downloader. If you are using Freemake Video Converter, the download process remains as before: you need to copy the video link and paste it into the video conversion software.
