The very 1st beta version of free Freemake Music Box was released on the 22nd of December, 2011. Since that day we’ve made numerous improvements. We added a fully-functional player, drag and drop feature, improved audio quality and overall software performance. We got many emails with your comments, feature and improvements suggestions. We'll try to integrate the options that you need most of the others. Now it has come a right moment to release one of the most requested features. Freemake Music Box 1.0 comes out with an inbuilt offline music player. Now all music lovers can use Music Box not only for audio streaming from YouTube but as a fully-featured audio player to play back the songs stored on their PCs. With the new Freemake Music Box users can: - search for offline songs on their hard drive; - search and stream online music from YouTube; - create and import playlist in most popular formats. All these options make Freemake a perfect default player for your music files. Let's see how you can do it. First of all, download an updated version of Freemake Music Box. Please note that the app can be used on Windows computers starting from Win XP. Run the installation file and follow the steps to install Freemake Music Box. Do not forget that you will need a stable and fast connection to use this tool. Besides that, keep in mind that music streaming consumes traffic data. Thus if you use a network with traffic limits, better wait till you connect to an unlimited one. Install the program on a PC and run it. To find a song online or offline, simply start typing its name in a search field. If you have a track on your hard drive, the app will find and reproduce it. In case you don't have a track on your PC, Freemake Music Box will search for it on the Net. You may add both offline and online tracks into a playlist. The tool supports a wide range of audio formats. However, if your offline file has a rare audio extension, we recommend you convert it with our Audio Converter. Besides that, if you accidentally remove the song from a PC, you won't need to search for it again. The software will find the audio online automatically. Besides, Freemake Music Box 1.0 receives ID3 tags support and an improved search algorithm to provide better search results. You can search for online media by band or artist name, song or album title. Free Freemake Music Box will find all the available versions of a track. Click the Play button to start listening. If you like the track, click the Plus sign to add to a playlist. To remove the audio, you do not need anymore, select it and click the Bin sign at the bottom of a playlist. Like in earlier versions, online tracks come with a visual line or an album cover. Thus you may listen to your favorite music and enjoy a clip at the same time. Download Freemake Music Box here.
