Adjust final settings

If your device is not on the list, you can create a custom profile with the necessary settings. Choose "Create custom preset" in the drop-down menu. Set video and audio bitrate, codecs, frame size, fps, etc. You can type a title for your preset and save it for future use.

Please note that you can’t convert non-HD SWF videos to HD, Full HD or 4K ones. Freemake SWF Converter doesn't increase the original quality of your SWF clips and movies.

Convert SWF to MP4

Now you need to select a folder where the software will save your new videos. Please keep in mind that Freemake SWF converter doesn’t change the extension of your original SWF videos. The freeware creates new videos instead. You will find them in a folder that you've specified before starting the conversion process.

What is SWF video format and how to open it?


An SWF file is a type of media file used to bring animated graphics, video, sound, and browser-based games to the web. This format was extremely popular years ago when most users had traffic limitations and needed online videos to be light-weight.
