Convert YouTube to MPEG Free

Download Freemake’s YouTube to MPG converter.
Launch .exe file on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista and follow installation instructions. When the installation is complete, please start Freemake software.

Open your browser and visit YouTube. Select a YouTube video or several YT videos for conversion to MPEG. Copy the links to YouTube videos you'd like to convert to MPG.
Then go to Freemake Video Converter and click the "Paste URL" button at the upper toolbar for YouTube video download. When the program processes online YouTube videos, you will see a list of clip names in the central window.

Click the "to MPEG" button. At the bottom of YouTube MPEG converter, choose a preset and destination folder. There are several ready to use presets such as: "Same as source", YouTube Full HD 1080p, HD 720p, DVD quality, TV quality, mobile quality. It’s up to you to select what quality of the converted file you prefer to obtain.
If you don’t want to deal with YouTube MPEG conversion settings, we recommend choosing the default "Same as source" option.

Your video will be converted to MPEG when you click the blue "Convert" button. If you input several YouTube videos, then converting MPEG from YouTube might take longer time. When YouTube to MPEG conversion finishes, the freeware will suggest opening the destination folder with your .mpg files.
