Download free watermark software

Download and install free video watermark software. The application works on Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and Windows 10. Desktop and laptop computers are supported.

Add video to put watermark on

Add your videos into the program where you want to put a watermark on. Import videos in any format: MP4, AVI, WMV, DVD, 3GP, FLV, MOV, VOB, etc. Both SD and HD videos supported (up to 4K).

Click the “+Video” button at the top of the program to open the source folder and upload all clips. Or drag and drop files into the freeware. To watermark a DVD disc, use “+DVD” instead of “+Video”. Thus, you will be able to watermark your DVD movie and further convert DVD to MP4 or other format.

Feel free to make a unique watermark for each movie or add several films to watermark in batch.

Add watermark to video

Press the stamp sign next to your visuals name. A new window will pop up. Enter your copyright protection message that you want to use as a video watermark for your personal movie. The branding will be applied to your file/files transparently all over the duration of your film.

Choose MP4 format

Select any output format. For example, MP4. Click the “to MP4” button at the bottom of free watermark software. To preserve the original movie settings, don’t change anything and proceed to the next step.

If necessary, create a custom MP4 profile. For instance, if you provide a video with a personal watermark as a preview source, you can decrease video quality using this option. Press the cogwheel sign on the “to MP4” window to alter any multimedia parameters of the output video such as frame size, width, height, video codec, frame rate, etc.

Please note that Freemake utility doesn’t delete the original file. You can always create several copies of your work with different settings and various watermarks.

Save video with custom watermark

Select a destination folder the video and press the “Convert” button to save a clip with a custom watermark. Wait till the conversion process completes and open the folder with watermarked video. Depending on the number of input films and their duration, the process can take up to 30 minutes.

Please note that it is also possible to add a watermark to your future DVD video. To do this, follow the steps above and choose the "to DVD" button to launch the DVD burning software.

How to add a watermark in Windows Movie Maker?


Microsoft free software enables you to add logo or text watermark to video. To do this, open Windows Movie Maker, switch to the Edit tab and find the text area to add a watermark on video. Follow the similar way to insert an image watermark in the video.

Please note that Windows Movie Maker isn’t available for download anymore. Use Freemake tool instead of Microsoft Live Movie Editor. Use the orange button above and follow steps 1-5.

How to add watermark on YouTube video?


There are two ways to add a watermark on YouTube videos. The first way is to use YouTube InVideo Programming feature. It’s available only for verified accounts in good standing. So, if you violate YTube rules at least once, you might lose all your YT branding immediately. Here’s how to add a watermark to UTube video using branding. Go to your channel, switch to channel settings and find InVideo Programming. Then select the “Add a watermark” option and save changes to overlay watermark to online videos. The advantage of this feature is that the custom watermark will be automatically applied to all videos in your channel. And if you change branding, you don’t have to re-upload videos with new watermarks.

However, this option isn’t 100% reliable. The best way to add a watermark on YouTube videos is to use Freemake application. Follow steps 1-2 as described above. The select the “to YouTube” and enter your account credentials. This way you can be sure that your videos will be watermarked no matter on your account reputation.

How to add watermark on Twitch video?


It’s simple. Follow steps 1-5 to add a watermark on Twitch video. Then browse the folder with watermarked video episodes and upload videos to your Twitch account.
